Beer Wire: Modern Times Kickstarter

Modern Times Beer has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to complete their brewery, with a funding goal of $40,000 by Wednesday, May 1. Rewards for backers include early access to special release beers, co-brewing a beer with their brewery crew and even a portrait of your likeness painted on black velvet that'll be hung in Modern Times' new tasting room; founder Jacob McKean tells Eater that "Velvet paintings and world class beer pretty much encapsulates what Modern Times is all about."
