Convoy Update: Tajima Adds Craft Beer; Maru Korean Opens

Tajima is almost finished with the renovation to their Convoy Street location, which includes a more modern design and a new central communal table. The eatery is also adding bar seating and has plans to stock a 12-tap system with local craft beer within the next few weeks. Tajima is now open all day, from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and until 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

A few doors down, MARU is now open at 4681 Convoy Street. The late night spot (Wednesday through Saturday, they're open until 2 a.m.) serves flavored soju, pitchers of craft beer and Korean bar food, including fried chicken gizzards, bulgogi-topped French fries and spicy kimchi stew.

And Tea Garden, which serves Taiwainese boba drinks and snacks, is moving to a larger space at 4633 Convoy Street. A scheduled March re-opening has been pushed to April.
