More Chefs For Public Market; Almanac Beer Co. Events

BARRIO LOGAN— Take a look at the updated line-up of restaurants that'll be at this Sunday's Street Food event at the San Diego Public Market. Joining a who's-who of San Diego's culinary stars are some of Tijuana and Baja's best chefs, food trucks and eateries, including Miguel Angel Guerrero of La Querencia and Tortas El Turco's Luis Fitch (pictured). Local Mexican eateries are also represented, from Chula Vista's Aqui es Texcoco and their delicious barbacoa to the ladies from the market's neighboring New Mexico Cafe. [EaterWire]

SOUTH PARK— The Bay Area's farm-to-bottle brewery, Almanac Beer Co., will be in the house at Hamilton's Tavern tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. for a Tap Takeover featuring eight of their beers, and on Thursday at 6 p.m. they'll stop into O'Brien's Pub for a meet-and-greet. The team from Almanac also made time during their visit to brew a collaboration beer with Monkey Paw Pub & Brewery, a dark, dry-hopped California common with cocoa nibs. [EaterWire]

TEMECULAOutstanding In The Field, the producers of many popular family-style farm dinners, just released ticket sales for their 2013 North American Tour. On the schedule is a stop in Temecula, for a dinner at the Temecula Olive Oil Company on Saturday, June 8. The featured chef for the evening will be Paul Arias (read his Industry Dish interview here), who was the guest chef for last year's OITF event held at nearby Crows Pass Farm. [EaterWire]
