Roy's Hawaiian Fusion in La Jolla is now known as Roy Yamaguchi's Pacific Rim Cuisine. The restaurant's founder, Roy Yamaguchi, known as the innovator of Pan-Asian fusion cuisine was in the house last night to help launch the new concept and celebrate the La Jolla location's recently completed makeover, which includes an expanded lounge area. The refreshed menu includes hamachi chirashi, seared snapper with housemade Kabocha squash gnocchi, and smoked wagyu beef with mushroom-soy jus.
