Who Takes A Toilet Paper Holder?

Some of the Shit People Steal stories we receive are serious head-scratchers, like this one that came to us from Catherine Perez of Con Pane Rustic Breads & Café in Liberty Station. BTW, you haven't tried the bakery's cinnamon rolls yet, do.

In Perez' Shit People Steal anecdote, she writes, "a staff member came to me and said, "the toilet paper holder is gone"; I responded, "so just refill it". She chuckled, realizing I missed the point of her words and said, " No, you don't understand, the metal thingy that holds the toilet paper is completely gone!". I seriously though she was playing a joke on me until I went into the restroom and saw two holes where the dispenser used to be. So, someone came in to the restroom with a screwdriver, removed the dispenser and took it with them. To this day, I can not figure out why someone would steal a commercial, not very decorative, double toilet paper dispenser."
