grand%20del%20mar.jpgIn our first preview of Amaya in La Jolla, Eater mentioned that Exec Chef of the Amaya in the Grand Del Mar, Camron Woods, would be leaving there to head up this new kitchen. Replacing him will be Matthew Sramek, who moves up from his current post as Chef de Cuisine at Amaya at The Grand Del Mar, where he started as a sous chef. Sramek previously worked at Thomas Keller's Bouchon in Beverly Hills and the Hotel Bel-Air, and graduated from the California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena. [EaterWire]
