New Juice Bar, Produce Market Slated for South Park

Stehly Farms Market, which opened on Morena Boulevard earlier this year, is getting ready to open another outpost. They're headed to Beech Street in South Park, where they'll share the same block with Ginseng Yoga and Grant's Marketplace.

A non-compete agreement with Grant's means that this shop won't carry the full breadth of grocery items as their flagship store, but the 800-square-foot space will sell local organic produce from their 300-acre farm, Stehly Farms Organics, as well as other farms in San Diego County.

When the market opens in February, it'll also house a smoothie and juice bar; they gave out samples at last weekend's South Park Walkabout.

The Stehly's are planning more stores for San Diego in 2014, including a 5,000-square-foot, full-scale market that'll also feature prepared food.
