Downtowners, it's time to rejoice. Eater has confirmed that Green Flash Brewing Company has chosen to locate their next beer wonderland in a yet-undisclosed site in the East Village neighborhood.
As previously mentioned, this new venture will be the hub for brewery's growing barrel aged program; they'll experiment, age, package and distribute from this location, which will encompass approximately 20,000-square-feet. An unconfirmed rumor may include the addition of a small pilot brewhouse.
About half the space will be dedicated to a tasting room and a restaurant that will provide a dining experience centered around Green Flash's entire beer line-up.
The company, which is currently building an East Coast production brewery, should have a leased signed by early 2014.
