Thrillist asked a panel of esteemed beer judges to pick their ten favorite IPAs and naturally, some San Diego beers ranked high on their list. Among the judges' top ten favorites are Ballast Point's Sculpin and Alpine Beer Company's Duet, and even more local brews are represented on the extended list of the best 45 IPAs, including AleSmith's IPA, Alpine's Nelson, The Pupil from Societe Brewing Co., Green Flash's Le Freak and the Stone IPA.
