Chilly Ribbons Opens; Bubbles Bash; Menu Additions

MISSION VALLEY— The temperature's supposed to warm slightly this weekend, just in time for the soft opening of Chilly Ribbons, the "shaved snow" concept that's staking a claim in San Diego. This first location is their kiosk at the Westfield Mission Valley mall, next to the Macy's entrance and The Sweet Factory, and it'll stock a rotating selection of five flavors. GASLAMPLe Metro, the monthly curated wine subscription service, is throwing a Holiday Bubbles Bash on Saturday, December 14 at The Chuck Jones Gallery. Tickets are $50 and include hors d'oeuvres from The French Gourmet and eight sparkling wines from around the world. [EaterWire]
