Since founding a catering company in 2008, The Promiscuous Fork has been steadily expanding their culinary endeavors; in 2012, they opened a small 25-seat eatery in La Jolla that's become a favorite of locals and surfers strolling in from nearby Windansea Beach.
Now, they're poised to grow their family again with a second restaurant that'll be an anchor tenant in Pacific Beach's The Point at Ingraham, the 35,000-square-foot mixed-use project with restaurant, retail and residential space.
The complex is due to open in December and The Promiscuous Fork will likely launch in January, in a space that's three times the size of their existing location. It'll have the same menu as La Jolla, where regulars frequently order their burgers or signature sandwiches; The Best Fork'n Chicken Sandwich, with roasted green chile dressing, habanero pesto, bacon and white cheddar, is a bestseller, as are the blackened salmon tacos. The new PB site will also offer a bigger variety of craft beer.
