SuperNatural Sandwiches Picks Miramar for First Shop

After spending part of the year searching for a suitable brick and mortar location, the popular SuperNatural Sandwiches has settled on a spot to open their first shop, a 900-square-foot space in the Miramar area that will also function as a catering kitchen.

SuperNatural's marketing director, Anthony Tran, told Eater that they hope to have the shop fully functional by February of next year.

Their sea-to-sandwich menu includes the Neptune (local scallops and bacon) and the Nesse, a seasonal fish sandwich, but they plan to diversify and add a chicken, beef and pork-based sandwich. They're also working on three variations of lobster rolls, traditional, Baja-style and Asian.

The menu will also expand to include seasonal items, sides and vegetarian selections; down their line, they might explore adding taco, salad or plate options.

SuperNatural plans to continue their weekly booth at the Hillcrest farmer's market in addition to taking on more catering gigs and increasing their presence at big events such as the San Diego Night Market.
