A reader sent us word about a local project on Kickstarter that's halfway to their funding goal with just six days left to campaign. The four NewSchool of Architecture + Design grads behind RAD LAB seek to repurpose an East Village parking lot at Market St. and Park Blvd. into an urban park which mixes outdoor space with businesses housed in retrofitted shipping containers.
