Baja's culinary superstars are getting together for a special wine and food event at Bonita's Romesco Baja Med Bistro on Monday, January 14. Romesco, which made it onto our Eater 38 list of essential San Diego restaurants is Javier Plascencia's only north-of-the-border outpost. He'll cook and play host to chefs Diego Hernandez (Corazon de Tierra in the Valle de Guadalupe) and Ryan Steyn (L'escargot Bistro in Tijuana) and Baja vintners Hugo D' Acosta and Phil Gregory(Vena Cava Winery) who'll put together an eight course, wine-paired meal.
