A Bartender Triple Threat

vermouth.jpgThree notable names in local mixology, Jen Queen, Lucien Conner and Ian Ward are no longer working with Campine Catering under the Pick & Rocks label. Instead, the three friends have formed a new cocktail super group called the Queen-Conner-Ward Collective. The team told Eater that the plan is to consult and collaborate with bars and restaurants while actively searching for location to open their own bar within the next year; they'll partner with a local chef to include a thoughtful food menu. For now, Queen's behind the bar at Little Italy's Prepkitchen (she also blends up Monello's house made vermouth, pictured) and Ward will be doing some guest mixologist work at Prohibition in the Gaslamp.
