Karl Strauss Celebrates, Fathom's First Beer List

PACIFIC BEACH Karl Strauss Brewing Company is celebrating a milestone this year, their 24th anniversary in the beer business. This Saturday's annual Changing of the Barrels event at their main brewery will be an opportunity to taste their 24th Anniversary Flanders-style ale that's coming out a year in barrels and preview next year's 25th Anniversary Doppelbock before it heads into its long nap in oak. Tickets to the February 2nd party are $50; also included: food from MIHO Gastrotruck, live music, a commemorative glass and beer, lots of Karl Strauss beer. [EaterWire]
