Slated for a mid-January opening in Ocean Beach is OB Kabob: a 50-seat, meat-on-sticks eatery. Co-owner Sal Sinawi, who manages a neighboring liquor store, told Eater that the Mediterranean menu will focus on traditional dishes, including lamb and beef kabobs, but that the restaurant will also offer schwarma tacos and — perhaps done as a nod to their location (at the corner of Newport Ave. and Bacon St.), a variety of bacon-wrapped meats.
