reader.jpgEater's confirmed an earlier whisper of San Diego Reader's decision to suspend their traditional dining review column and has learned that the cut was due, in part, to budgetary reasons. Going forward, the Reader's food section will still feature the Tin Fork column, with other print material culled from entries from Feast, their online food blog. Some writers, including Ian Pike and Barbarella, will continue to file food stories, while contributor Kirk K. will focus on his own popular blog, mmm-yoso. [EaterWire]
