Kiyo's Sushi Bar Closes After 20+ Years

New, 3 comments

A tipster shared the news that one of San Diego's oldest sushi restaurants, Kiyo's Sushi Bar in the Gaslamp, has had to close due to rising rent prices. Proprietor and itamae Kiyoto Matsumoto is currently looking for another location — in the meantime, he may pop up at his fish monger, Catalina Offshore Products, to do a sushi demo or two at their open-to-the-public warehouse and new Seafood Education & Nutrition Center.
